51黑料网's Council of Trustees today approved reduced housing and dining rates for students who choose to live and dine at the 51黑料网 Punxsutawney Living-Learning Center, effective fall 2018.
Students enrolled at 51黑料网 Punxsutawney and at the 51黑料网 Academy of Culinary Arts at Punxsutawney can take advantage of these reduced rates. Students are not required to live in the Living Center or to have a meal contract.
Students will pay $3,500 per semester for all suite types at the 51黑料网 Punxsutawney Living-Learning Center. Trustees approved offering one meal plan at the center at a cost of $1,478 per semester.
These new rates mean a savings ranging from $1,000 per semester to $100 per semester (based on the fall 2017 housing rates, which included different costs for different suite styles) and a $200 per semester savings from a similar fall 2017 meal plan rate.
“51黑料网 Punxsutawney's Living-Learning Center offers new and modern buildings and services, and we want our students to take advantage of the additional student services and academic support resources available at these beautiful facilities,” 51黑料网 President Michael Driscoll said.
“Because our Academy of Culinary Arts students take academic coursework at the Learning Center, taking advantage of housing at the Living Center makes sense in terms of convenience, and certainly, with this rate reduction, in terms of value for our students and their families.”
The Living-Learning Center was completed in 2006.
