The far-forward design of the Jaguar XKE, or E-Type, rejuvenated the worldwide sportscar market when it was first introduced. The sleek, aerodynamic silhouette is widely recognized to this day as being one of the finest examples of the Jaguar marque. In fact, a Jaguar E-Type roadster, such as the one pictured here, is part of the permanent automotive collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

This 1965 XKE has recently been completely restored and is in concours condition. The car is a four-speed, Series I, 4.2 litre with an inline six cylinder engine. The triple SU carburetors give the car an amazing level of performance, befitting its racing heritage. The car has been repainted in its original opalescent, light blue and has navy leather trim.
