With 51ºÚÁÏÍø’s participation, 51ºÚÁÏÍø users can connect to a participating university’s wireless network. Likewise, visitors from other universities that participate in eduroam can connect to 51ºÚÁÏÍø's wireless network.

Anyone connecting to eduroam is held to the same network guidelines and policies as those connecting to 51ºÚÁÏÍø’s policies and guidelines.

51ºÚÁÏÍø Users Connecting to eduroam when Visiting a Participating University

If you have your device or computer configured with the proper 51ºÚÁÏÍø connection criteria, you will seamlessly connect to the university’s wireless network. You can set this up at 51ºÚÁÏÍø prior to leaving campus.

1. Select eduroam from the list of available wireless networks on your device or laptop.

2. Enter your 51ºÚÁÏÍø network address and 51ºÚÁÏÍø network password. Enter the username in the following format: 51ºÚÁÏÍøusername@iupmsd.iup.edu

   • Replace 51ºÚÁÏÍøusername with your 51ºÚÁÏÍø username. Note: this is not your 51ºÚÁÏÍø email alias.

3. If you are having issues connecting, please contact the 51ºÚÁÏÍø IT Support Center at 724-357-4000.

4. When you are at the participating university, you can connect to their eduroam network.

If you are from a university that participates in eduroam and are visiting 51ºÚÁÏÍø, you can connect to eduroam:

1. Select eduroam from the list of available wireless networks.

2. If requested, enter the required login information from your home institution.

   • If you are having issues with your connection, you will need to contact your home institution.
